Jeremy H. Pittman

PT, CMP, CERT-SMT, CERT-DN, CERT-FMT, CERT-IASTM

Owner, Physical Therapist

I grew up in the small town of Itta Bena, Mississippi and attended a school that no longer exists…Cruger Tchula Academy. I worked as a lifeguard for a few years until starting in the restaurant business. I worked as a waiter through college and PT school.

After PT school, I spent four years with Campbell Clinic in Memphis, TN working with Orthopedic Surgeons with specialties in the areas of Hand, Shoulder, Knee, and Spine. I was key in the development of the hand program at the Campbell Clinic Desoto Location in 2000.

For the next five years, I served as clinic director of Memphis Physical Therapy. I opened two satellite locations for Memphis PT and operated three outpatient facilities while developing strong roots in the community.

I decided to open Pittman PT in the Town of Collierville in 2007 with a focus on treating the people not patients. I became a Certified Mulligan Practitioner in 2007 which emphasizes manual therapy for the treatment of all orthopedic conditions. I earned my certification in Spinal Manipulative Therapy in 2010 and became Certified in Dry Needling in 2011. I earned my Functional Movement Taping Certification in 2016 as well as a certification in Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization in 2017. I became certified in cupping and further credentialed in Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization in 2018.

My Core Values Are:

Among the challenges patients have to deal with that I want to fix is that I hate the fact that patients are an afterthought to health insurance companies.

At Pittman Physical Therapy, I am the visionary for growth and the culture dictator. My specialty is finding great people!!

First let me just say that I don’t leave reviews unless a place is really awful or it services are so good that people need to know about it. Pittman is worth taking time to inform others about their quality service. I was sent to Pittman physical therapy after I injured my lower back in an accident at work. My workers compensation insurance company set me up with another local physical therapy place here in COLLIERVILLE. And let’s just say I didn’t leave them a google review! After not improving but only having more pain my doctor requested more therapy for my back. After asking my insurance company to set me up somewhere else for future P. Therapy they set me up with Pittman physical therapy. I found them to be very professional by first listening to my concerns about my back since I’ve had a bad experience with P. Therapy before, and had plenty of questions. Jeremy Pittman took his time upon my first visit to really make me feel comfortable as a client of his. After my first visit I was assigned to Brad and he took his time and listened to my concerns and put a game plan together to get me back healthy as my back would allow. Now I’m back after re-injuring my back. Once again top rated physical therapy at it best. Brad is great at his job and Jeremy’s staff is excellent at accommodating my needs also. 5 star physical therapy done right.
